If your monitor, printer and scanner are not calibrated to produce the same colour output i.e. ISO Standard KODAK Q-60 Colour Input Target, you will find that the printed result is different from what you expected.

The only true colours for commercial printing are from the PANTONE Colour System. If you feel that the colours are critical then you must obtain a Pantone Colour Book.
